Disappointing! I made these as directed and the cookies were very solid and dry. Seems like 2 1/2 cups of flour was a mistake. Peanut flavor was good though
so sorry to hear that – i know it is such a bummer when you make a recipe and it does not work – the amount of flour, however, is not a mistake . . .
I want to try the original recipe that required shortening instead of oil. Is the amount of shortening the same as oil? Thank tou!!!

I tried this last night. Cookies are delicious, but they are on the dryer flakey side vs. chewy.
