6Tbsparrow rootor corn starch
1/4cupfreshly squeezed lemon juice
4Tbspunsalted butterroom temperature
Combine the berries, sugar, salt and arrow root in a large bowl. Using your hands, or a wooden spoon, toss the ingredients together until the berries absorb all of the arrow root. Add the lemon juice and toss again.
Place one rolled out sheet of dough in the bottom of the half sheet pan as per the pie crust instructions above, and add the filling. Dot the top of the filling with the butter, and continue to follow the pie crust recipe.
